Hi Harry,

One interesting comment that one of the convention organizers told to me
directly was that "his and two of the other clubs had figured about
three weeks before the convention that they had the details nailed, but
then suddenly found out that one of the clubs had laid down on the job.
So all they could do was hang on and ride out the train wreck." Not an
exact quote, but close enough. And his identity will remain anonymous.

As you said, there are a lot of details that have to be attended to, and
if just one person (or club in this case) doesn't follow thru, you can
have a train wreck on your hands.
