I agree with John.....

Banquet at Flagstaff 2002 was held at the University where the Autocross was also held. If you are going to hold one or more events away from the host hotel, why not the banquet? With decent directions and maps it shouldn't be a big deal.  We survived just fine in Arizona. Sure, it is great to have the banquet at the host hotel, but I can't see where it should be a show stopper if it isn't.

Well then why not have the Banquet off site since everything else winds up 
being off site.
