Ian,
Go to http://transportreviews.com/ for a bunch of reviews.
I just had a non-running Fiberfab Avenger shipped from Napa, California to
Austin, Texas using AutoZipper. Rather than repeat my story, if you look at
http://transportreviews.com/company/AutoZipper.asp, you'll see mine as Kit
Car Move - California to Texas.

The service was about what I expected, so I was satisfied. Remember that
most of these guys are brokers. They take the deposit ($197 in my case) and
put the job out on some kind of trucker network. The truckers look for jobs
so that they can schedule a reasonable route and combine jobs. The broker
can choose to reject truckers they've had problems with. Once the car
arrives, you pay the trucker the rest of the money in some cash-like form
(cash, money-order, etc.) The guy that delivered mine had about 5 cars left
on a 10 car carrier. My car was the second one he delivered in Austin that
night.

Roger
