Sorry, no. Harold wasn't there, and nobody wanted me to dawdle.

We visited friends in Sebastopol, CA in Sonoma County north of San
Francisco. We lived there many years and had our printing business there.
Our neighbor, Harold Pellini was the Chevy dealer in town, as was his father
before. I knew Harold was a collector of Chevys, going back into the
twenties. But I never saw his entire collection (indeed still haven't).
But yesterday I saw his Corvairs. He had a 63 vert; a 61 95 pickup (not a
rampy) and <<SOUND THE TRUMPETS>> a 69 coupe, metallic green that has never
been registered, and has 50 miles on the odometer. It was the last Corvair
delivered to his dealership. The factory sticker, still on the window had a
price of $2716. All the cars have been garaged or warehoused. But it was
damned eerie to see a NEW 69. Of course, none of the cars are for sale.
