Just in case somebody new might have an idea, am still having an idle issue 
with my '66 110/PG 75,000 miles. Everything seems fine  until I stop at a 
light or sommat in D for about 15-20 seconds when warmed up then one or two 
(think 3 & 4) cyl stop firing and 600 rpm idle becomes a 350 rpm idle. Does 
not stop.  Tap on accellerator or shift to N and it comes right back.

Runs fine otherwise - 20+ mpg at 70 and have trouble keeping it down to 
that. Winds smoothly to shiftpoint. Plugs look fine even when stop engine 
during 350 rpm idle and pull immediately. Just does not like 600 rpm for 
long. CHT on #2 and #5 plugs sit on 270-290 even after 100 mile cruise on 
Florida Interstate.

All vacuum hoses replaced, doors opening properly, been through carbs 
several times and mounted on a gasket/block/gasket sandwich. Balanced with 
both Unisyn and vacuum gauge. Plug wires (8 mm) and plugs (W8AC) almost 
new. Pertronix II and Flamethower II coil added (helps but still drops 
suddenly). Distributor not doing anything funny with advance - 14 degrees 
initial and stable at idle speeds.

Alla time same same. Come to a stop. Idles nice for a while. Then sudden 
drop to stable 350 rpm - not slow decline, sudden drop.

Ideas anyone ?
