Technically speaking, the host hotel for the 2005 Great Plains Corvair
Roundup was the Best Western not Holiday Inn. As one of the planners of that
event, I can't say enough good things about the hotel staff. They did everything
we asked. There were some bumps, most of which were due to our inexperience in
planning an event and good old communication problems.
The food at the banquet was, well, hotel food. I've had better, lots better,
but I've also had worse, lots worse. In my opinion, the best part of the
banquet was the seemingly endless Coleman jugs that were among the door prizes,

Bottom line, when we host the Great Plains Roundup again, we'll most likely
be back at the Best Western.
BTW, the 2006 Great Plains Roundup will be hosted by Green Country Corvair
Club in Tulsa September 22-24. You can find details at their web site:
