<VV> Thermister testing

Hi,

 

Does anybody out there have a technique for thermister testing? 

 

Mine worked briefly after I re-assembled my 180, then nothing. I'm not sure
where the problem is but I thought I'd start with the thermister.

 

I had some thoughts along the lines of a 12 volt power supply, a toaster
oven and an ammeter, read the current then calculate the resistance. Anybody
get any other/better ideas?
