Try having the same experience with a Muncie or worse, a cast iron Saginaw 
on your chest. Have had a Corvair input shaft in my toolbox since I have 
had a toolbox - works well with any 10-spline GM clutch disk.

Usually with a water pumper you can snag a passerby to hold the clutch 
pedal in while under but when assembling a Corvair, loosening the pressure 
plate is the only choice.
