Here's mine. After putting the heads on and installing the rocker arms
during the third or fourth time that I had put the engine together . .
. starting to lose track, I realized that I forgot to put on the lower
head shrouds!! The only thing that kept me from a vacation at the
Rubber Room Hotel was the fact that the engine hadn't been installed.
ETI (estimated time of installation now around August. ggg)
(not REALLY ggging)
p.s. That was after the time that I realized that I had forgot to put
the oil galley plugs in after assembling the block the second, third or
fourth time . . . who knows. While trying to insert them through the
holes in the cam gear, one of the little @#%^*$#@ dropped off of the
extension and lodged behind the gear and I had to take the block apart
again.
Trying my best to win our club's "Ralphie Award" for the worst hard
luck story.
Heck, I'm aiming for the "Ring of Horror".
