Harry and Matt are right. Argent Silver was used for years in the GM
line. In my 1970 GM PPG sheets it is listed as a wheel color.
PPG code originally was DQE-8568 for alkyd enamel. PPG ( Ditzler)
suppliers used to stock this in premixed quarts.
Usually you just change the prefix to the type of paint you want, so a
base coat urethane should be DBC-8568.
Acrylic lacquer if you could find it would be DDL-8568.

Argent means silver, but in '57, there was a Chevrolet color called
Argent Silver, that is a dead ringer for the Corsa cove color.
