<VV> What was I thinking?

Hi,

 

Well maybe it's that time of the year to reveal our latest "what was I
thinking?" mistake doing Corvair work.

 

Here's mine.

 

I was so proud of my recent powder coating of the engine sheet metal. I
carefully reinstalled every piece including the top main shroud. Every nut
and bolt cleaned and torqued up just right. Then while I was standing back
and admiring my handiwork I noticed one thing odd (it actually took me about
a second or two to realize what was wrong). I had forgotten to install the
fan!

 

Not a really big "oops" but I felt kinda dumb!
