<VV> visual abomination

I rarely submit to this forum, although I thoroughly enjoy it and learn great and varied things.  Being an early aficionado I felt I had to reply to the following:

OMG, THAT is a beautiful car.  And it should be stated here that in general, I feel that the early model is a visual abomination.  But this particular one is drop dead gorgeous.  Is it the color combination?  Maybe, hmmm... I may have to rethink this early model business.  

The worst Corvair of any age that I have ever seen was EXCELLENT
