<VV> Blue Flame 140?

Chevy used to call their inline Sixes the "Blue Flame Six".  Not sure when they started, but in the early '50's that advertising designation was common as I recall.  Never had anything to do with a Corvair or 140.  Just a cute way for the former owner to connect back to Chevy 6 history.

Where did this decal come from?  Is this an actual nickname, or just 
something someone came up with themselves?
