Ryan,
   I`ve hauled a trailer from Florida to Michigan several times with a water pumper and the ambient tempiture makes a lot of difference on how high the engin temp will get. It seems that the difference between 70 & 80 deg`s makes a trip much more difficult. As soon as I got to Atlanta things really cooled down. I dont know how Corvairs tow but the trailer thing doesnt sound like something I`d try for a maiden voyage.
