Hey guys,
The thing that is between the wiper motor and the chrome/shiney/satin wiper 
arms is called the WINDSHIELD WIPER LINK ASSEMBLY in the "old books", and are 
called  WIPER TRANSMISSIONS these days...
Just an "FYI"....
