Yes, those are good days !
Back around 1980, I called Kelsey-Hayes to get info on their wire wheels,
and was told he had a few sets left that he wanted to get rid of, and asked
where he should send them. Gulp !
One of the sets is on the "Black Widow Spyder" and another is on (I think)
the "White" counterpart, sold for the "original price" (plus "cola," maybe).
Those were the days. Not too many offers like that come your way. Wish I
coulda had one of those 140's !!!
Nice that you shared them with Corvair owners and they didn't go into
helicopters of boats or whatever !
