I read Craig Nicol's article on the "quick shifter myth" in Corsas in the April Communique and I gotta say it was great!  Thanks for doing all the research on this.  I don't know about the rest of you but I'm convinced there was no special quicker shift mechanism on Corsa's.  There's a lot of technical details that might bore the average Corvair nut but I liked it.  The Corvair is so subject to myths and incorrect opinions that I think it's very important that at least us Corvair guys don't spread any.  I know I've heard about the Corsa quick shift since I got back into Corvairs.  I'm glad this has been put to rest.
