One other thing that I have found that J.B. Weld will not stick to is PVC pipe.  Tried on several occasions repairing 2" PVC joints on pool heater (solar panels, on roof), and had had no luck with it.  Water (under pressure) leaks right through where the J.B. Weld was applied. Anyone have similar luck with PVC or was there something I did wrong applying it.  I cleaned the pipe real good with Lacquer thinner before applying it.  Still great stuff.  I use a lot of it doing various repairs on my Corvairs and other projects.
