<VV> FW: Blower Bearing

Somewhere, I recently read an article in which someone had devised a
contraption that allowed him to remove and replace the blower bearing
without removing the cover from the engine.  

I think it was in the VV archives, but could have been in an old Communiqué
or maybe over at Corvair Center.  Does anyone know where I could find this
article?  Thanks.
