Classic bad electrical connection issue. Troubleshoot by getting it to 
happen and use a voltmeter to find where the power goes away. My experience 
is that it is usually a loose or deteriorated positive cable to the battery 
but can be the ground connection as well. If it goes instantly it requires 
a meter but if will crank slowly for a bit or try to start for 10-15 
seconds then the bad connection will probably be hot.
