<VV> Vin# Stamped on Frame

I am traveling this week & don't have access to my Corvair "stuff" &
need to know where on the frame the Vin# is stamped, specifically on a
69 (besides inside the left windshield corner).  I think it was
somewhere underneath in the front (passenger's side?) & possibly one
needs to remove suspension parts to see it?  Am I close?
