<VV> Steering wheel adapters/GM Wood Wheel

Hey guys,
My 63 'brier has a 64 GM wood wheel on it, and I was wondering how is it 
possible... isn't the 'brier steering shaft the same diameter as the EMs? Would 
this fit on the '69? I've not had the heart to yank the wheel off and stick it 
on eBay just yet, since I've been wondering if it would work on the "new" 
'vair...
Then again, I reckon I just had an epiphany... it *could* be off a 64 
Chevelle, since it had the larger shaft, like the 'briers and the EMs before 64... 
right?
I think I need more coffee this morning...
