Tubo return pipes are high on the passenger side head and I always
questioned if this could contribute to oil in combustion chambers...

Subject: <VV> Oil in combustion chambers
I don't see how any significant oil could enter the combustion chamber
through the valve guides while the car is parked on a side-slope. The
guides are at the top of the head and not exposed to oil when the engine
isn't running.
You mentioned that the smoke occurs on the "low" side, further
stretching the valve-guide theory. There is a wild flurry of oil flying
inside the crankcase when the engine is running. It stands to reason
that everything inside the crankcase area would be coated with oil. In
a cylinder where the piston isn't at the bottom of its stroke, the
cylinder wall area below the piston would likely be coated in oil too.
After the engine is stopped, this oil would pool at the bottom of the
cylinder. On the uphill side, the oil would flow back to the
crankcase, on the downhill side... Hmm Craig Nicol
