The engine in my CJ had 68,000 miles on it. I replaced the points and
condensor. Distributor had no slop, actually ran pretty good. Accell plugs,
wires, cap etc.... I installed the pertronix and noticed a definate
improvement, especially at higher RPM.
 Yea, some people may be using them to cover or fix other issues. However, I
still believe they are better than points in every way.
