<VV> De-Flashing turbo heads in the car?

For my winter project, I am going to de-flash the heads on both of my  
corvairs. I would like to avoid removing the engine if possible. On  
my 102 car, It should be easy to take the upper shroud off. The one I  
am worried about is my '64 Spyder engine. Can the upper shroud be  
removed with the turbo in place?
