On a similar topic, does anyone know where plastic parts can get rechromed with very good results (preferably in Southern California)?

  I want to rechrome a few items, small stuff like bumper guards etc.  Does
  anybody have any really positive experience with any particular vendors or
  any particularly bad experience.  I'm in northern California, but fed ex
  ground is pretty cheap if the stuff must travel any distance.
