Hey,
Rong way, wright way. It will read full when empty and empty when full!
I sprung for the proper wrench after removing many with the hammer and 
screwdriver. It has paid for it's self many times over as I have used it on 
my Vairs and those of others I end up working on. Well worth it to me.
