the way i understand it from a long time ago the shocks should not enter into 
the ride height. plus the shock mounts were not designed to handle the full 
body loads.   hence air shocks are not a good idea either without being used to 
replace factory existing ride height controllers.  not that it isnt done 
every day but just something else i picked up in a seminar years ago. so go to 
work on your springs etc....
