well i was wrong on the post about the inner seal.  that has bitten me twice 
in the last few years after doing other seals on clean looking differentials , 
so i am now parinoid about doing them idove with the hole in the case , the 
fluid return from the converter to the trans thru the passage in the side of 
the differential is blocked..causes havoc!. lots of things to watch if you take 
one apart. but i found out on one of mine and one of someone elses , you cant 
cut corners on this stuff anymore. sorry i mislead with previous post on this. 
when that inner seal goes , you fill the differential with tranny 
fluid..comes out the top vent of the differential .
guess ya cant trust me when i am so tired. had a nice long day of corvair 
touring with our club ...but not with my vair.
