hey guys, when we did our logo for 2004 international we kept in mind the
kids on purpose.parents/ grandparents go to a convention bring back children
a souvenier t-shirt. we also wanted a ky theme obviously. ordinarily they
don't even offer small sizes because they just don't sell. we did anyway and
sold a bunch (cant remember the exact count). we also had printed an
additional 20% more shirts than usual because we thought we were going to
have a large attendance and we did. even w/ that we could of sold a lot more
but we ran out and it would of taken 3 days for a re-order.---so yes, there
are talented people in our circle that can design to young and old
tastes..take care, greg scarboro

Yes t-shirts should start representing the Corvair in a better light.
It's my opinion in the past that they still represent the "grocery
getter" on our logos and shirts. They should be more colorful and
updated so that not only those who own them want a shirt but the younger
generation will want to purchase them also. I know the organization has
the talent to do and I for one think it's time to do it.

While we're on the subject of Dash Plaques, I have two more cents I'd
like
to add to the discussion.
It has been my general observation that many of the T-shirt and event
logos
I've seen at Corvair events over the years are.... not very cool.
"Cool" of
course not refering to the temperature of the item, but the intangable,
subjective appraisal as desirable. If CORSA wants to appeal to a
younger
crowd, it's a small thing, but something we can work on.
Regards,
Joel
