the main cause of locked up brakes has been the pedal pushrod adjusted too 
tight. it needs a touch of play so after warmup the brakes dont come on.  i had 
this happen to a 55 plymouth on the thruway after brake work once. not a good 
feeling.  make sure you check that adjustment after any master cylinder 
removal or changes. it does not take much to do and not much off to really be 
dangerous.also recheck your brakelight switch adjustment.
