Here's a fuel related tip, though I doubt that anyone on this list needs it.

When choosing a vehicle to line up behind at the gas station, always pick
the Honda over the 3/4 ton Suburban.  I am amazed at how often people pull
up behind me, with my 42 gallon tank....
