No. The factory cap has a smooth edge that will be hard to "pop" back on 
the good cylinder. But why bother, the caps are available from Curtis 
Lock or Crest Products ( and probably many other aftermarket  auto and 
key suppliers) by the box full. You can buy caps for most all 
manufacturers of lock cylinders in several types of finishes.
