A friend has a 65 Corsa Convert that sits 1 inch lower on the
drivers side then the passenger side at the back.
Are the springs seated properly at the rear. Is the camber at the rear equal
for both sides? And, although this is obvious, are the tire pressures
correct. A frame shop once told an acquaintance that she needed her convertible's
"frame" straightened because of sag--he proceeded to show it to her--when what
he had really done was lower the air pressure in one of her rear radials. She
came to me for advice and we "straightened" her frame with and air pump.
