<VV> best way to remove mildew from paint on car

We know that our Corvair will need repainting eventually but want to start out after getting it out from a shelter after 15 years by washing it.  It has mildew on the paint.  Can i put some bleach in the water?  What will that do with red paint?  Also, anything to help with some green oxidation on the chrome?

Once it is washed, we will go on to the brakes, engine, etc.
