Many thanks to those who responded.  I appreciate the dialogue  concerning 
what I should do cam wise to get the best performance for my VW  camper.  Also 
the ideas about the 140 heads/seats.  Any other  suggestions concerning this 
rebuild would be welcomed.
 
Any other ideas for finding some used L 2206 pistons?  ID for  "Squirrely 
Motors"?
