The Brake Warning, and the Gen-Fan lights have quit working in my 67
(Oil-Temp still OK). R & Red the dash to install a clock several months ago and
replaced all the bulbs at that time. All was well until recently. As it is a
powerglide, and unless I really need to, I'm not into struggling with the PG
cable, et al, to remove dash to checks bulbs. What is the best process of
elimination to determine if the problem really is the bulbs W/O pulling the dash?
Perhaps ohm the bulbs in place and, if so, where are the closest connection
terminals in a reasonably accessible location? Do these indicators have a
dedicated ground, or socket ground? I seem to recall the Gen-Fan socket having two
wires connected???
