Yes and no.

Officially it's stated in Litres / 100 Km (as in 6 Litres / 100 Km)  
but you wouldn't want to give a dollar to all the folks in Holland  
that state their car does almost 17 Km / per liter ;-)

Dutch habit I guess.

Just for the record, this is approximately 10 miles per litres or  
almost 38 Miles per Gallon and the fuel consumption of my diesel car.

1 Mile is 1.609 Km
1 Gallon is 3,7854118 Litres
