Well, if you join the crowd that only drives with your lights on, you might
hook your PertyTronics into that switched 12 volt wire about a foot away
from the distributor ... I think it's called a " T a i l L i g h t " wire,
it will be 12 volts anytime you have you lights on.
You should rewire your tail lights up in a parallel ( both high 12 v and
ground ) system anyway, so one bulb/ground failure doesnt stop your car.
Also, any time you have your lights on, your PerkyTronics would be buzzing
.. not sure this is a real problem ... If it would be some problem unknown I
guess a vacuum operated NO switch would cut the PorkTronics if the engine
wasn[t running ...Figuring spinning the engine with the starter motor would
suck in the vacuum switch to " ON ".
Also consider the fuses: I am not sure what all the tail lights plus the
ignition would require ... maybe 20 amps ?? The coil is fed from another
source, not this one .. just the black box of the PervTronics
Anyway, before you could start the car, you need the lights on, maybe
another 15 seconds delay for the thieves to figure out.
