<VV> AC Delco Rapifires or No wonder GM is going broke

Mentioned I was investigating whether a RapidFire plug was available for 
the Corvair but it appears that any information about the specifications 
(was looking for the reach - distance from the flat to the end of the 
threads) is considered "not for public dissemination".

Sent e-Mail  to AC Delco & was told to call. Called and was told that only 
application information was available. No specifications. Gave a song and 
dance about potential damage if wrong plug was used. No wonder the company 
is going broke.

Did a Cross and the chart showed the Rapidfire #4 was a replacement for a 
W8AC. Anyone know how long the threads are on a Rapidfire #4 ? 44F and W8AC 
are 1/2".
