Those sound like '68 ish standard belts. I'm no expert (and I'm sure someone
on the list who is will step in to correct me) but I think all pre '66 belts
are "lift the flap" type belts. Deluxe belts became push button in '66 and in
'68 (maybe '67), the standard belts became push button too. The plastic
buckle is a clear sign of a standard belt (vs. brushed stainless). Check the dates
on the tags - they are probably '68 or '69 belts. If I'm not mistaken, '63
belts were all chrome, lift-the-flap types. Nothing wrong with what you have,
but likely not "correct". I'll check my "stock" for one of what you describe.

My 63 Monza Vert came with lotsa good stuff, among which are GM logo
seatbelts at all four seating positions. The problem is that the one at the drivers
seat has a buckle that does not work. I have been hunting for a replacement I
could transplant in, but want to match the three others already in the car.
The strap is black, the buckle has a black plastic surface, with the GM logo,
blue, in a square pushbutton release in the center. I wonder if anyone has
one they'd be willing to part with. Mike <unsnip>
