<VV> Using PVC for compressed air distribution systems.

Folks,
 
I saw the thread on using PVC for compressed air distribution  systems.  As a 
safety professional, we in industry have pretty much across  the board banned 
using PVC pipe for compressed air distribution sytems.   All of the companies 
in the Oil Refining and Chemical industry that I am aware  of ban it's use.  
The company that I work for does.  If anyone would  like to get information
