Have you considered gluing them in? There is a product made by Fusor that 
will glue panels in like the newer OEM car panels. Check out www.fusor.com 
to find a dealer that carries the product. I read a magazine article that 
tried the glue and the metal would rip before the glue would let loose. The 
product is applied with a dual syringe as it is an epoxy type glue. I plan 
to use it to install the front fender patch on my LM.
