Corrosion in the plug on the wires at the pump end? Bad ground at the pump
end? It is using the "feed" wire to find ground when you use the button?
Just thoughts - but I think that is where I would look first.

Hi Guys!
I went out to my 69 convertible the other day, backed it out into the rain
for our Econo Run and the wipers wouldn't work! They had worked fine a few
weeks earlier. They will cycle when I push the "Wash" button, but won't work
on either high or low. I checked the fuse and the wires, but if they were
bad I don't think the "wash" button would work. I guess the switch has
suddenly gone bad. Any other ideas? Thanks!
