<VV> Turbo Question

Hey Gang,

I read the article in the 5/13/05 New Milford Spectrum which seemed pretty 
accurate in most respects.  However, the writer states that the Corvair was the 
second production car manufactured in North America to have a turbo.  What was 
the first?  Further, what, if any foreign made cars preceded the Corvair with 
a turbo in a production car?  Inquiring minds want to know.
