Tim, I have my PG ready to install in my engine. Can you describe the
part you mean? I don't recognize the description. Little dirt
shield/vents? Where is this supposed to be?

Getting all the information is most of the solution.

anyone know where i can get some of those little dirt shield/vents used
on 
the pump cover of a pg? i need at least 2( to replace broken plastic
ones) or 3.
