Yes, the tach goes to the minus side of the coil. Be advsed that the
pertronix applies somewhat more that 12 volts to the coil, so your tach may
not be able to handle the higher voltage. I suggest placing the resistance
wire in series with the tach input signal wire. Let me kow how this works
out.
