<VV> Any other things I should know about POR?

Clean the entire area with a degreaser and rinse thoroughly. POR will
not stick if there's any grease/oil at all. This includes oil from
your skin, so wear latex gloves. You want to wear gloves anyway
because any POR that gets on your skin will be there for a couple of
weeks.
POR wants some "tooth" in the metal, so any shiny metal needs to be
treated with an etching agent like Metal Ready.
Blow out all seams with compressed air to ensure everything is
completely dry. Then blow them out again.
If you're doing 2 coats then keep an eye on how quickly the first coat
cures. It will probably be sooner than you think. The second coat
should go on when the first is still a little bit tacky.
