  My 65 coupe is nearing every day driver status and I decided to get it 
some new tires.(btw does anyone know when Whites auto stores went out of 
business?) I drove it down to the tire store and I got some weird looks No 
one had seen one (there was a car savvy kid who knew what a corvair was) 
but I had to show and tell them where the engine was and the trunk and the 
best question......... who made corvairs? I then realized that LM's do not 
have anything but the bow tie on the trunk that identifies it as a 
Chevrolet. The Kid was dumb founded that Chevy had ever made an air cooled 
car!
