About 5 years ago a "dealer" spotted me in my vair and told me he had a
Spyder he had to let go real cheap. I went out to his place to look at it.
It was a 63 Monza, with a Spyder glovebox door. While the body was pretty
solid, a laquer paint job was old and was cracking everywhere, didn't run,
needed basically everything.
To me it was a $300 tops project, or parts car, which I didn't need.
His Old cars price guide had a 63 Spyder in I beleive class 4 condition
sisted as $2400 at that time. He was willing to let this one go for only
$2000. He didn't care, to him it was a Spyder...........
About 2 years ago, the car ended up getting scrapped along with all his
other cars he had overpriced, after he passed away......
Old cars price guide, is not a bible, but can be somewhat recognized as a
guideline..........
